It is not uncommon for an individual to have two jobs.  This may be for numerous reasons such as low hours in the primary job or simply being a determined, passionate worker.

This can be another complicated area when it comes to obtaining the required mortgage though.

Many lenders advertise being able to assist with second jobs, only for an underwriter to decline the case at a later stage as they may make the decision that the hours are unsustainable, often this decision will be made after you have paid upfront valuation fees, made payments to your Solicitors etc…   We believe this can be an unfair judgement to make.
